Announcing an On-location Course and Trip to Spain - April 2011


It’s not too early to start planning for the Spring Break of 2011. The ESOL & Foreign Languages Dept. invites you to join us in an unforgettable 11-day visit to Spain, the Land of Many Cultures, in April 2011.

DATES: April 14 to April 24, 2010 (Spring Recess)

ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS: Madrid, Toledo, Seville, Granada, Córdoba and Barcelona. Optional extension to Bilbao and San Sebastián available.   
                                               
COST: $ 2,950 including all taxes and departure fees

VISITS: Guided city tours plus entrance to the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum in Madrid, the Toledo Cathedral and Santo Tomé Church in Toledo, the Moorish Alcázar in Seville, the Alhambra in Granada, the Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona and more. The itinerary focuses on history and culture, and provides free time for personal sightseeing. 

PRICE INCLUDES:           
Round-trip airfare from Rochester, Hotels with private facilities, European breakfast daily and 4 dinners, Overnight train to Barcelona (with couchette), Entrance to many museums and historical sites, Sightseeing tours with professional local guides and full-time bilingual Tour Director. 

Participants in this tour must register in SPA 221 – Hispanic Culture On Location (3 hrs., credit or audit, no prerequisites) in the Spring Semester 2011. Register in the tour now and set up monthly payments without interest or surcharges until March 2011. Price quoted includes accommodations in triple rooms. Double and single room accommodations available for a surcharge. Comprehensive insurance coverage (medical, cancellation, baggage loss) available for $135. The $95 lifetime registration fee is due as soon as possible, and it is included in the price quoted above. The last day to enroll in this tour is December 27th, 2010.
