Arches, Canyons and Pinnacles … Spring Break 2016!


Spend Spring Break 2016 on the "Great American Road Trip," traveling and studying the geology of the southwestern U.S.!

Professor Barone and Professor Colosimo of the Chemistry/Geosciences Department are offering Field Studies in the Geosciences: Arches, Canyons and Pinnacles (Geo 295) Tuesday evenings from 1/26/16- 4/12/16 with a field excursion on-location in Arches, Zion, Canyonlands, Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef National Parks, as well as the well-known landmarks Monument Valley and Antelope Canyon, from March 25th – April 2nd.

This 4-credit SUNY Gen-Ed Natural Science course is open to all MCC students, faculty, and staff. If you are interested in taking this course, please attend one of the informational meetings listed below or feel free to contact Jessica Barone "
