An Open SUNY course proposal is used to convert an existing course to online via the Internet through the Open SUNY Blackboard platform. Faculty with basic computer skills and a willingness to adapt teaching to asynchronous environment and to participate in required training will be provided a stipend.
If you are interested in offering an existing course in the Open SUNY format, please go to the Curriculum Database to complete a proposal to develop an existing course online through Blackboard by October 22, 2014.

The Hybrid Course Proposal is used to convert an existing course to online via the Internet through the Open SUNY Blackboard platform. The supplemented face-to-face instruction may not constitute more than 50% of instruction. Faculty with online teaching experience or with basic computer skills and a willingness to adapt teaching style to asynchronous environment will be provided training.
Review and approval is the responsibility of the Division Dean.
