Research Help and Library Instruction at MCC Libraries

While many of our students are comfortable using technology, they sometimes need guidance to acquire the skills necessary to successfully conduct college level research.  Our library instruction program serves as your partner in this undertaking.

If you would like to schedule a library instruction session at the LeRoy V. Good Library please contact Lori Annesi <mailto:lannesi@monroecc.edu>.  If at Damon City Campus, please contact Michael McCullough <mailto:mmccullough@monroecc.edu>.

If you’re wondering where to plug a library instruction session into your syllabus, remember that students will get the most out of the session if they feel the content has a direct application to an immediate need.  It’s best to bring your class in for instruction after they have research topics and/or specific assignments.

The library instruction portion of the MCC Libraries web-site provides more information about our program: https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/library/LibInstr303.htm
