Visiting American-Indian Short-Fiction Writer Toni Jensen at MCC Thursday and Friday


MCC’s Creative Arts Committee is pleased to bring métis short-fiction writer Toni Jensen to campus THIS WEEK. Jensen will read from her work Thursday, March 24, at 7 p.m. in the Forum (free and open to the public) and will lead a discussion/workshop on Friday, March 25, at 12 p.m. in 8-200 (free and open to the MCC community). Her story collection, From the Hilltop, was published through the Native Storiers Series at the University of Nebraska Press in 2010. Her stories also have been anthologized in New Stories from the South and Best of the Southwest. Jensen teaches creative writing at Penn State University.
