On Friday, December 9, 2005, Marcia A. Marriott, Ph.D. and Associate Professor in Business/Economics, was selected to participate in Microsoft Live Meeting with Donald Trump. Marriott ask Trump "What traits does he look for in an Apprentice or candidate he is interviewing for hire?" Trump's response was:
"The candidate must be a team player, exhibit personal responsibility, have a high level of integrity and loyalty, be disciplined and focused at all times." In a follow-up question Marriott asked which of those traits is most important to him. Trump responded "Integrity and Loyalty." Marriott was asked back on Friday, December 16th to participate in a live question and answer session with the new apprentice to be selected on Thursday, December 15, 2005.
