MCC Engineering and Computer Science students captured first place for the third consecutive year at the SUNY Two-Year Engineering Science Association robotics competition held on Saturday, May 7th at Borough of Manhattan Community College. The leading scorers for MCC were James Buduson of Chili, Adrian Fronczak and Justin Honan from Spencerport, and Jacob Kiggins of Avon.
Teams were required to design and build autonomous robots that could traverse a maze, deposit rings into boxes, and return to the starting point. The team advisors were Bert Gamory, Geoff Berl, and Chuck Moon. The team is now preparing for the national American Society of Engineering Education competition to be held in June in New Orleans.
