PIXIEPRO CONTROL SYSTEMS

Are you teaching in one of the newly upgraded smart classrooms around campus?  If so, you’ll want to attend this Brown Bag session. You will learn about the new PixiePro system installed in over 40 rooms and how to use it to your advantage while teaching. With PixiePro there is one location for all of your controls in the room. These units provide a common user interface panel in your classroom. No more learning multiple room configurations. If you know you will be in one of these classrooms for the semester and want to learn how to operate the PixiePro, attend this Brown Bag session.

See M:\MCC\Teams\AudioVisual\SmartclassroomsHANDOUT.doc to locate PixiePro enhanced rooms.

WIKIs

Why Wiki? Wikis (from the Hawaiian word for “quick”) are web pages that can easily and quickly be updated. This makes them ideal for many purposes: class information, urgent messages, or anything that can change rapidly. This presentation will discuss one current application (the Psychology Learning Center web site) and will demonstrate the creation of an all-new Wiki just for the workshop!

Facilitated by Celia Reaves, Psychology; and Carol Burritt, ETS Computing.
