Brain Game Trivia 2024

MCC was well-represented at last month's Literacy Rochester's Brain Game at the Hyatt Regency! The competition was fierce, with the Monroe County Library System taking home the title. Table sponsorship, a wine pull, raffles, and a silent auction raised funds to support Literacy Volunteers and their mission to improve adults' reading, math, English language, and digital literacy skills. Their trained volunteers help participants achieve their personal goals of fully participating in the community as citizens, parents, consumers, and workers.

This work resonates with MCC's goals - "1.2. Strengthen the College's commitment to community, service, and justice by aligning the College community with a more just and equitable world." and "4.2. Strengthen the College's commitment to civic, community, and global engagement."

Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to represent Team MCC and helping to support such a worthy cause! We hope you'll join us next year!
