Retirement Celebration for Donna Burke

After 28 years of dedicated service at MCC, Donna Burke will retire on January 30, 2023. When you think of the fabric of MCC culture, Donna is the shiny stitching that has brightened so many of our lives. Donna started at the college as an Admissions Counselor later serving as the Associate Director of that office. She has also served the offices of Advising and Counseling, Counseling and Disability Services, the Vice President for Academic Services, and most recently as a faculty member in the ESOL/TRS department. She has led many wellness initiatives including weekly mediation sessions, in person and on zoom, bringing mindfulness to our campus community. In whatever role, her creative mind was completely dedicated to the success of our students.

A virtual retirement celebration will be held on Monday, January 30, from 4:00 – 5:00. Please join us to wish Donna the best and share funny stories of our history with her.  Feel free to wear any retro MCC garb!
