Monday, February 5, The Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Michael Quinn as the college’s new Controller.
Michael Quinn has an A.S. in Engineering Science from Monroe Community College, a B.S. in Accounting from SUNY Geneseo and is a Certified Public Accountant.
He comes to MCC with 16+ year’s experience. Most recently he served as VP of Finance, Controller at Empire Beef Company where he was responsible for finance and reporting, cash management, and general administration of the parent company and its subsidiaries. Prior to Empire Beef Co., he was an Audit Manager at Rotenberg & Company, LLP where his client-base was primarily not-for-profit institutions.
Michael serves on the Board of Directors, currently Chairperson of the Supervisory Committee, of St. Pius Tenth Federal Credit Union and is a volunteer coach for soccer and youth baseball.
