Williams and Lasch to Compete in Area Toastmasters Contest


The 3rd annual MCC Toastmasters Club Humorous Speech and Evaluation contests were held Sept. 26 at the Damon City Campus. Five Toastmasters competed in the contest. Tish Williams (Grants Office) earned first place honors and Pam Kone (Applied Technology Center) placed second in the Humorous Speech Contest. In the Evaluation Contest, Bob Lasch (Applied Technologies) received first place honors and Krysta Banke (Career Center) placed second.  Congratulations to all participants.

The winners of each category will represent the club in the Area 6 Contest on Oct. 14 at the Perinton Community Center on Turk Hill Road. If you would like to come and cheer on the MCC team, please contact Samson Olaode, president, at x1693.
