This fall, a new TRS reading and writing course sequence will launch, fully replacing the former sequence of courses (TRS 101, TRS 103, etc.). The new sequence will consist of two integrated reading and writing courses (TRS 100 and TRS 200), a discipline-specific reading course (REA 100) that can be paired with content area courses, and a slightly redesigned TRS 105 targeted to students who need to improve their writing skills but do not need reading remediation. We are hopeful that this new curriculum will better serve students and increase their chances of success.
