Information sessions for students interested in joining the Disney Team as an intern in the Walt Disney College Program for the fall 2011 semester will be held as follows:
Wed. March 16th at 6:00 p.m. in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center, Empire Room (3-209)
Thurs. March 17th at 6:00 p.m. in the Flynn Campus Center Forum (3-130)
The WDW College Program offers students who have completed at least one semester at MCC the opportunity to intern for either 5 or 7 months, working in one of the Disney theme parks (Florida or California) while taking an ACE approved class through Disney University. Character roles are also available. Engineering, Theater, Criminal Justice or Business Administration students may enroll in a special class directly related to their MCC major.
During the Fall, 2010 semester, 130 students interviewed for the spring 2011 Disney internship and 42 were made offers to participate. 37 students are currently in Florida or California earning six credits.
Students with questions are encouraged to meet with Bill Sigismond in the Transfer and Career Center, 3-108.
