Did you know the newest version of the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) is coming to MCC? The new name is Microsoft Office 2007, and suffice it to say each software package has undergone a major face lift! It looks significantly different, and the format to save files has changed. Some students are already using it and bringing in their files. You need to know how to open their files.
Have you seen the new software yet? It’s different. There’s a whole new look and feel to the basic features. There’s no longer a Menu Bar to list all the commands.
Come to the demo sessions during Technology Week, Monday, June 25th thru Thursday, June 28th. We will have demo sessions for Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook to review the new changes.
Don’t let the new software take you by surprise. Come and see it before it’s on your PC.
