Mandatory Title VI Training Link
Per the Daily Tribune announcement on earlier this week, the Title VI training module has now been uploaded to Brightspace. You can access the training directly using the following link:
As a reminder, SUNY has mandated new Title VI compliance training, which must be completed by September 30, 2024. This training is distinct from our annual compliance training and comes with an earlier deadline, making it crucial for all employees—full-time, part-time, and adjuncts—to complete it as soon as possible.
This mandatory Title VI training is in addition to the annual compliance trainings that cover the following Human Resources policies:
- Keeping Children Safe on Campus
- Workplace Violence Response and Prevention
- Sexual Harassment Prevention & Response
Moving forward, Title VI training will be combined with these trainings for completion by our new hires upon hire and will be included within the annual training requirements for current employees following this academic year.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this important requirement. Your participation helps us maintain a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
