The ESOL and Foreign Languages Department at MCC invites you to enjoy a wonderful on-location study opportunity in China to learn about the richness of the history and culture of the world's most populous nation. It's the trip of a lifetime!

IMPERIAL CHINA
An unforgettable 12-day visit to Beijing, Balading, Xi'an, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

· Some of the places we'll visit: Summer Palace, Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square in Beijing; Badaling and the Great Wall of China; the Shaanxi Provincial Historical Museum and the Terra Cotta Warriors of Xi'an; the Jade Buddah Temple, the Yu Yuan Garden and the Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai; Victoria Peak, Aberdeen Harbor and the Stanley Market in Hong Kong.

Participants in this tour must register in CHI 221 (for credit or audit) in the Summer Session I, 2006.
Price includes the tour cost plus registration and departure fees. Single rooms are available for an additional fee.
Participants younger than 25 receive a reduction of $365 with accommodation in triple rooms.
The registration fee of $95 is due upon enrolling. The last day to register for the tour is March 3, 2006. 

One-hour informational meetings are planned for the following dates: Feb. 1 or Feb. 15 at Noon in room 6-333; Feb. 9 or Feb. 16 at 4 PM in room 6-335. You can attend either one of them to obtain more information about the trip. Also, see attached flyer.
