Honor Code Commiittee

For about a decade, MCC has had an Honor Code statement in place, but as the college changes, it is time to revisit it and ask if it is meeting the needs of our diverse college community. To that end, we are going to impanel an ad hoc committee, chaired by Jay Nelson, to build on the work begun by the Faculty Senate Student Affairs committee during the 2015-2016 academic year. It is our goal that the membership will include representation from faculty, administration, and members of the student body so that all major stakeholders have input and are involved in the process.

It is expected that a recommendation will presented to the Faculty Senate Executive Committee by March 9, 2017 so that the Senate can review the recommendation and approve it no later than
May 4, 2017. If you are willing to join our committee, please send an email to both Jay Nelson <> and Mark Ernsthausen <mailto:mernsthausen@monroecc.ed> by October 6, 2016. Thank you in advance for assisting in this important research.
