You Could Be One of the Lucky Professors Chosen...

…For Information Management Assessment!

This fall the Information Management Assessment Committee will be assessing the following three outcomes using a multiple-choice measure:

·         Perform the basic operations of personal computer use

·         Understand and use basic research techniques

·         Locate, evaluate, and synthesize information from a variety of sources

These outcomes are not course specific; they are considered infused competencies which students should acquire by the time they graduate.

Institutional Research will generate a list of courses with a high concentration of students who have completed forty-five credit hours (our desired population).  In late August faculty members whose courses are affected will receive packets including all necessary materials and instructions for administering the assessment (which should take only ten to fifteen minutes of class time).  We’ve tried to make the process as painless as possible for you.  Thank you in advance for your support.
