For adjunct faculty who cannot attend the Teaching and Creativity Center’s daytime conversations on this year’s theme “Cultivating a Growth Mindset,” we are offering a Supper for Success with a similar topic. This will be an interactive presentation including research on Carol Dweck’s theory of Growth Mindset and discussion on its application to both students and faculty.
Monday, September 26, 2016, 5:00-6:30 p.m.; Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Monroe B). Check in will begin at 4:45 p.m., supper will be served at 5:00 p.m., and the workshop will begin at 5:20 p.m.
RSVP ONLINE
Presenters have expertise in Dweck’s theory and experience with using her techniques in classes.

***A note about the food.***
In the past, there has been feedback that the typical Supper is chicken, and though it is tasty, you are tired of it. I have made an executive decision to order “heavy hors d'oeuvres” for this Supper. I think it will be delicious, but will read your feedback and make necessary adjustments moving forward. Thank you for your patience as I transition into my new position. We are still having chocolate cake for dessert.
