Articles by Sherry Tshibangu Published in Community College Entrepreneurship Journal

"MCC: Creating Connections & Opportunities for Aspiring Entrepreneurs," an article written by Professor Sherry Tshibangu, Business Administration and Economics, appears in the Spring/Summer edition of Community College Entrepreneurship. The journal is published quarterly by the National Association For Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE).

Professor Tshibangu's article highlights MCC's efforts to support aspiring entrepreneurs through the Launch Your Business! initiative, made possible by supporters of the MCC Foundation, and the Women's Entrepreneurship Week Conference, held last fall.

The journal also includes a "What Are you Reading?" column where Professor Tshibangu encouraged NACCE members to read Company of One: Why Staying Small Is the Next Big Thing for Business by Paul Jarvis (2019, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). Professor Tshibangu writes, "Company of One is not a one-size-fits-all approach to doing business, but it offers entrepreneurs meaningful ideas on how to stay small and profitable while enjoying a wonderful work-life-balance. Read it! You won't be disappointed."
