Remember way back in April when we began a contest to name the MCC Shuttle? Well, in all honesty, perhaps we should have waited until everyone had a chance to personally experience the shuttle and were able to sense the excitement that this new service will be sure to generate. For now, we have decided to simply call it the MCC Shuttle! We needed to move forward for the signage and marketing of this service and decided that simpler is better! We are also concluding the “official” Name the Shuttle Contest. Although we had many student and employee submissions, and we definitely loved reading all of the funny and creative ideas you gave us, we were not able to choose just one, and as previously stated, we will wait a few more months to see how the college community responds to the Shuttle. HOWEVER, one MCC couple did come up with an idea we plan to use in our promotional information. Bob (Computing) and Christa (Bookstore) Fathergill submitted the texting tag, “2 MCC PLZ” that we plan to include in our brochure and web marketing, so we are awarding them the $100 visa card for their creative suggestion.
