"Go Red for Women" Campaign to Launch Tomorrow


On Friday, February 4, you will be seeing a lot of “RED” on campus.  The American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) members and the college community are showing their support for The American Heart Association's national “Go Red for Women" campaign by donating $5.00 and wearing “RED”.

Please join us for this “first” Wear Red Day on MCC campuses and be apart of the fight against heart disease in women---the number one killer among women today!  It’s easy, just wear RED and forward your $5.00 donation.

Checks should be made out to AAWCC and forwarded to Karen Frantz, treasurer, or one the following volunteers:

Brighton Campus:

A group photo will be taken – so for all of you who wear “RED” please assemble in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center, 1st floor atrium, at 11:55 a.m.  Janet Ekis will take the photograph promptly at noon.
