If students are selected for verification, what should they do?


One third of all federal aid applicants are randomly selected for a process called "verification". If a students is selected for this process, they will be required to submit the following to the MCC Financial Aid Office:

1.    Verification Worksheet
2.    An IRS transcript of the student's Federal tax return
3.    An IRS transcript of the parent's Federal tax return (Dependent students only)

Please be aware that all errors, mismatches, and verification issues must be resolved before financial aid can be finalized and applied to an account.
