MCC’s Teaching and Creativity Center has been hosting a series of “conversations” on Ken Bain’s award-winning book What the Best College Teachers Do throughout the fall 2006 semester. The TCC fall program will culminate on January 12, 2007 when Bain himself will be on campus from 9 am to noon to present his ideas at an all-college faculty development workshop. Join your colleagues in the final book discussion of this series and look for more information about the author's visit.
Topic: Chapter 7 and Epilogue- “What We Leave” Please join us as we discuss how the best teachers evaluate their students and themselves. (Join us even if you haven’t read the book-you’re sure to have plenty to share on the topic!)
