The 5 Days of Brightspace Gradebook: Day 1

Day 1: Check Your Set Up Wizard!

Welcome to the 5 days of Brightspace gradebook! This week we will run a series on simple tasks that you can do to check your gradebook to make sure it is functioning properly. Since Brightspace is very new this semester and many faculty transferred content from Blackboard, there is cleanup that has to take place in order to have the correct grade display to students. If you haven't done some of the steps that we will share this week, it may be a good idea to check your courses now! 

The first tip is to check your Setup Wizard. You can find this from the Grades on the navbar and then click the Setup Wizard tab. From here, you will run through a series of 7 steps to confirm different settings. You will want to make sure you have chosen either a points or a weighted grading system.
