New to MCC Health Plans: SaveOnSP Program & the Accredo Specialty Pharmacy

In November, Excellus sent letters to MCC healthcare participants that were identified as using specialty pharmacy medication. This communication provided information regarding the Accredo Specialty Pharmacy and the SaveOnSP Program.  Excellus uses the Accredo Specialty Pharmacy to reduce prescription copayments to participants covered under self-funded employer healthcare plans.

If you or someone on your healthcare policy is taking specialty medication(s) and you have not acted according to your letter from Excellus, you will need to act as instructed in order to receive the medication(s) at the lowest copay possible.  If you have misplaced your letter and/or have any questions regarding this, you may contact Excellus’ Customer Care Service at 1-800-499-1275 for assistance.
