Faculty, Staff, and Students Participate in Brighton Central School District Festival of Ideas

Many thanks to MCC faculty, staff, and students who participated in Brighton Central School District's 33rd Annual Festival of Ideas on March 4th! This event is an educational "fun day" for Brighton students in grades 3 through 8. Each year, approximately 700 students participate in almost 70 workshops led by members of the community. 

MCC-led workshops included:

  • "Your Day in Court" and "Harry Potter and the Law" by Professor Karen Morris
  • "Lights, Lasers and Lenses" by the Optics Club (Susan Noonan, OST Program Community Liaison and Optics Club Advisor; Students: Zander Hoyt, Landen Stone, Grace Knapp, Abbey Helfer, Jen Owens, Summer Sonricker, Kay Wilkoff)
  • "Sweet Side of Chemistry" by Chemistry Faculty: Ryan Clemens, Jason Anderson, Brian Edelbach, Judy Mevs, and Azwana Sadique; Students: Chiara Giraldo, Michelle Kimball
