The 5 Days of Brightspace Gradebook: Day 4

Clean-Up Tips in the Brightspace Gradebook 

Welcome to Day 4 of the 5 days of the Brightspace gradebook! This week we will run a series of simple tasks that you can do to check your gradebook to make sure it is functioning properly and matches your Course Information Sheet.  

The fourth tip is to continue gradebook cleanup. 

  1. You can find this from the Grade Center on the navbar 
  2. Then click on the Grades tab. 
  3. Go to the Manage Grades tab.  
  4. Check to make sure you have removed any items you are not using this semester. You can disassociate your grade item so that you can remove the grade column.

  6. Next, if your gradebook is out of order, you can reorder items from the More Actions tab and then choose the Reorder option. You do have to make sure you number the items in the correct numerical order.
