Stop The Bleed Training

On Wednesday, February 1 from 2 to 3pm, in the Forum, the UR Kessler Trauma Center Certified Stop The Bleed trainers will teach the basics of what to do in an emergency situation if someone is bleeding severely due to an injury. Learn what you can do as an “immediate responder,” to stop potentially fatal bleeding before emergency responders can arrive.

The presentation will include skills practice using tourniquets, wound packing material, and wound simulators.

Immediately following the event there will be a hot chocolate bar with delightful toppings along with savory snacks for you to take back to work or enjoy with fellow attendees.
