Surgical Technology has new technology!

The Surgical Technology Program recently had their new Surgical Science Lap Sim device installed to enhance student learning of skills and procedures related to laparoscopic procedures in the operating room. Nichloas Schramm, Program Director, coordinated a day of learning, networking and activities that all surgical technology students attended. 

There were recruiters from local hospitals to promote employment opportunities. Speakers from the community that discussed  the importance of the role of the Surgical Technologist and an educator from Surgical Science to provide training to all students on the device. 

Congratulation to Nicholas and all who attended on a successful event!
