Monroe County Legislature Approves MCC's 2021-22 Budget

Last evening, by an enthusiastic and unanimous vote, the Monroe County Legislature approved MCC’s 2021-2022 operating budget of $109 million. The County’s sponsorship of MCC totals $19.63 million and includes an increase of $500,000.

Approximately 78% of our students come from Monroe County and the majority continue to live, learn and work within the region. MCC’s commitment to accountability continues as we do our part to help Monroe County educate and transform lives, restore economic prosperity, and promote racial justice, equity and equality.

In addition to thanking our County legislators, please join me in expressing gratitude to President DeAnna R. Burt-Nanna, Ph.D. and Interim CFO and Vice President of Administrative Services Darrell Jachim-Moore and his staff for their leadership and hard work leading to the successful passage of the budget.
