MCC is trying really hard to help students recognize civility around campus. In an effort to promote civility on campus, the students of SGA are hosting a series of open forums where students, faculty and staff can come and “Talk About Something That Matters”. (see schedule attached)
“Talk About Something That Matters” is co-sponsored by SGA and The Civility Project; Making Courtesy Common and is designed to increase student awareness on issues that impact students and faculty/staff and the campus community. The program is designed to encourage open and honest discussions by creating a safe and nonjudgmental environment for students to talk with each other in a civil manner.
