Campus Climate Survey April 14 - May 5, 2023

The mission for MCC states that “Monroe Community College transforms lives and communities, fostering the success of diverse students through affordable and innovative academic, career, technical, and workforce development programs. Our shared work inspires and champions excellence in higher education and builds global engagement and understanding.” In order live up to this mission, we must be willing to examine our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and potential threats to our ability to operate as a successful, open-access institution of higher education.  One way to conduct such an examination is by receiving feedback from faculty, staff, students, administrators using a robust, comprehensive, campus climate survey.

This spring, the college will partner with an external agency to administer the Viewfinder Campus Climate Survey to members of the college community.  The survey was created by the owners of INSIGHTS into Diversity magazine, and was customized to fit the needs and offerings at Monroe Community College.  Using an external agency also helps to protect the anonymity and confidentiality of responders.

The survey will be available for completing between April 14, 2023 and May 5, 2023, and a link to the survey will be emailed directly to all student and employees of the college.  We will randomly select ten survey participants for a $25 Amazon gift card.  We strongly encourage every student, faculty and staff member to participate in this survey so that we can work together to create the best experience at Monroe Community College for all who study or work at the college. The data from this survey will help us advance MCC’s first strategic direction, Together as One.
