MCC 2023 Benefits Effective January 1st

Here are a few reminders with your 2023 MCC benefits.

New Medical Insurance cards By now, if you are participating in MCC medical coverage you should have received a new medical insurance card.  It is important that you verify the plan name and copays listed on the card match the plan you have rolled into the new year or elected during Open Enrollment. If you did not receive a new medical insurance card or have issues with the one you received, please contact the Human Resources Office at hr@monroecc.edu or call (585) 292-2048.

New 2023 Wegmans Prescriptions Copay:  Just a reminder, under the College’s new self-funded medical plans, you will receive an additional discount on your copay when filling your prescriptions through Wegmans.

No New Dental cards:  There were no changes to the MCC dental plans; participants will not receive new dental cards.

Flexible Spending BRi Beniversal Card (FSA): New FSA cards were mailed in December to some MCC participants whose cards were due to expire on 12/31/22. If you have not received a new Beniversal card, verify the expiration date of your current card.  If your card has expired and you have not received a new card, please contact the Human Resources Office at hr@monroecc.edu or call (585) 292-2048.

Reminder: When enrolling or requesting changes to your benefits, be sure to verify these changes on your pay stub; all benefits were effective January 1st.  If you have enrolled in a new health or dental plan, you should have received insurance cards; verify that the plan and copays align with your enrollment request.
