Diana Lauria featured on WOKR-13's Bright Spot Segment

WOKR-13's Don Alhart highlighted the volunteer work of Diana Lauria during the Bright Spot segment of the Dec. 7 evening news program. Lauria will receive the Monroe Community College Foundation's Salute to Volunteerism award tonight at the Salute to Excellence dinner for her work as a director on the MCC Foundation Board and member of the Holocaust Genocide Studies Project Advisory Board. Lauria has been a dedicated volunteer since her appointment to the foundation board in 1993 and currently serves as vice chair of the Special Events committee.

Lauria is only the third volunteer in MCC Foundation history to receive the award. Past recipients include Margarett Sprattling and Arnold Klinksy.

The segment will be posted to MCC's Video-On-Demand page shortly.
