Student Auditions for Young Frankenstein

Upcoming Auditions for Young Frankenstein

When: Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 6:30pm to 8pm 
Please note this is a new time for auditions.

Where: MCC’s Mainstage Theatre, Robin and Tim Wentworth Arts Building 4, Room 141

Actors will be seen on a first-come-first-served basis and must be currently-enrolled MCC students. Auditions will end promptly at 8pm. Actors must prepare 16 bars (a verse and a chorus) of a song selection from a musical other than Young Frankenstein to be sung a cappella. Actors must also prepare a contemporary comedic monologue that is no longer than 2 minutes.

If cast, students will be added to either MUS 142 or THE 142, and will earn 3 credit hours. Rehearsals will be held Mondays through Thursdays from 3:30pm to 6:30pm beginning September 18, until Tech. Week when the rehearsals will be Monday through Friday. Performance dates are Friday, November 17, Saturday, November 18, and Sunday, November 19.
