Presenting the 2024 Women of Excellence Scholarship Program

The Women of Excellence is a program that supports women from all ethical and racial backgrounds.  The program was envisioned to help women empower themselves by gaining leadership skills, socialization skills, employment skills while gaining scholarship rewards.

Why would you want to join The Women of Excellence?

  1. Students who apply and complete the program will receive a $500.00 scholarship
  2. Students will also receive a certificate of completion after fulfilling the program
  3. Students will meet and interact with other women in the program and make friends, learn from each other and discover different ethnic and racial backgrounds
  4. Students receive encouragement and mentoring by advisors in the program
  5. Students will have the opportunity to develop the key elements of becoming effective leaders.
  6. The Women of Excellence experience information about employment opportunities
  7. For students looking to continue on to another college, we will explore other college campuses
  8. Interact with students from all diverse and ethnic backgrounds
  9. Students get the opportunity to hear from professionals on a number of different topics
  10. Students can challenge themselves and overcome fears                                                                                   Come to our informational session to learn more on Wednesday, September 13, at 4pm or our session on Thursday September 14th at 12:30pm.  These session are being held at the PRISM Multicultural Center, Building 1 Room 108.  Each session is 1 hour and we will answer many of your questions.
