Daisy Marquis Jones Foundation has awarded $40,000 to support the work of the Greater Rochester Early Educators’ Network (G.R.E.E.N.) – a auxiliary network of 292-BABY.
Mary Louise Musler, executive director of 292-BABY and interim director of G.R.E.E.N., states “by funding this project, Daisy Marquis Jones Foundation has recognized the link between quality care for children and professional development for their caregivers. GREEN has sharpened the focus on professionalism in the early childhood community while encouraging optimal professional preparation for those working in this critically important field.”
Administered by MCC under the 292-BABY umbrella, G.R.E.E.N. provides educational support to caregivers. G.R.E.E.N. operates as an alliance of community organizations committed to quality early care and education. An advisory panel convenes regularly to guide G.R.E.E.N.’s progress.
