Blackboard Sunset is Less than One Month Away!

As a reminder, Blackboard will be sunsetting on December 21, 2022 at 5 pm EST, so this is your reminder to make sure you save what you need from Blackboard. This includes exports of your course content, exporting a copy of your gradebooks, and anything else you may want to save. 

Please see the previous MCC Tribune Announcement from 10/19/22 about backing up your Blackboard Content and Gradebooks by December 15th for more details. 

We put together a webpage explaining on how to go about saving what you need from Blackboard that includes tutorials: see Blackboard Sunset Details. You will also see some new banners in Brightspace reminding you.  

If you need help exporting content from your Blackboard course and bringing it into Brightspace, please use our K16 Migration Request Form located in our VC Faculty Center in Brightspace to make this request (this requires login). Requests need to be made as soon as possible before we lose our Blackboard access. You also have the ability to move your own content with an export and import.
