National Bike to School Day is coming up on Wednesday, May 3rd.

This national event is geared to K-12 schools, but there is no reason the idea can’t be expanded to include MCC as well. Do you think you can ride your bike to MCC on May 3rd?

The date is still about two weeks away! That gives you two weeks to get ready to ride. Nobody lives too far away from MCC to participate in National Bike To School Day. That is because of a concept called “Park and Ride.” Drive to a destination closer to work and then ride the remaining distance. This gives you the added benefit of being able to decide for yourself where you will start from. Be smart and pick a place that avoids traffic (like the canal path).
