Passing of Christopher M. Webb I, Public Safety Assistant

It is with sadness that I inform the College community of the passing of Christopher M. Webb I, an MCC Public Safety assistant, on March 14, 2023.

Mr. Webb joined MCC in 2019 as a part-time assistant. For the past 3.5 years, he worked directly with student-residents in the residence halls. He helped foster a positive environment in which students felt a sense of belonging and connection. His dedication and professionalism earned praise from his colleagues.

Predeceased by his father, Mr. Webb is survived by his wife of 20 years, Michelle; three children; two grandchildren; mother, Patricia Thompson; and several aunts and cousins.

Calling hours are today, March 21, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626.

Contributions in his memory may be made to his children Cayla Webb and Christopher Webb II, 1280 Lexington Ave., PO Box 60494, Rochester, NY 14606, to support their continuing education. His obituary is available on New Comer’s website.

MCC extends condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and students. We are grateful for his many contributions and service to MCC.
