As Promised: Grading Cycle Numbers!

I don't know about you, but I can't get much more excited than I am when the grade rosters come up and we find out the new cycle numbers for the semester. It's always a surprise and somehow the numbers get better and better each semester. HOW DO THEY DO IT?

The cycle numbers for this semester are:

Brighton Campus full length courses: 47
Brighton Campus varied length courses: 48
Damon City Campus (all courses): 49

Due to the intricate complexities of grading, on occasion there may be some varied length and full courses mixed so if one cycle number doesn't work on the 115 screen, try the other. You cycle number is printed on your grade roster in the upper left of the form.

If you are grading from home, make sure you have MCC AT HOME installed on your computer. This can be done by going to the MCC Web site, choosing EMPLOYEES, then choosing TECHNICAL SERVICES, the MCC AT HOME. If you have problems with the installation, check the FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS and they will refer you to a phone number you can call for help or a technical person you can email.

Keep in mind that the only things you need to fill out on the 115 screen are the COURSE, the TERM (042) and the CYCLE. You DO NOT need to fill in the SID or the GROUP. Leave those blank.

Grading is certainly a highlight in the Records Area. It is one activity we are sure to talk about long after it is over. Join in the fun. Turn your rosters in early. Remember: Don't put off 'til tomorrow what you can do today, because if you enjoy it today, you can do it again tomorrow. This epitomizes our grading philosophy.
