MCC's Efforts in Enrollment, Optics Training Highlighted in Trade Publication
The Feb. 1 issue of the Rochester Business Journal contains two articles about MCC.
"Hot economy means cooling of enrollment" (Page 11) talks about how area community colleges, including MCC, are serving students and the local community despite declining enrollment over the past few years. Christine Casalinuovo-Adams, who was interviewed for the article, promoted the Return to Complete program.
"Local colleges offer workforce training opportunities" (Page 10) discusses what MCC is doing in response to the continuing high demand for optics technicians locally and globally. MCC student Alec Drummond and Chair Dr. Alexis Vogt were interviewed for the article; Vogt promoted the dual-enrollment program.
