TCC: February 6th Adjunct Supper for Success

The Teaching and Creativity Center (TCC) is pleased to invite you to February’s Suppers for Success. We host evening workshops to accommodate many of our adjuncts’ schedules. You can expect to learn new information about the MCC community, our students and teaching and to make connections with other faculty.

Please join us on Monday, February 6th from 5 to 6:30 pm in Monroe A for this month's supper:

Using Storytelling and PowerPoint in the Classroom:  Among the various strategies we use to engage our students, the oral and visual traditions of storytelling and PowerPoint still serve as classroom standards. As we continuously reflect on improving our teaching for student learning, do you ever wonder if your PowerPoints could have more power or clearer points? At our February Adjunct Supper for Success, Professor of History, Mark Sample, will give a presentation about this topic and offer different examples of the dos and don’ts of using PowerPoint in the classroom.

Events are free, but registration is required. Please register before 5pm on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
