Faculty Resource Guides: Counseling Center and Disability Services
The Fall 2022 semester is officially underway, and we want to remind you of the some resources created by the Counseling Center and Disability Services team.
We welcome you to reference the “Counseling Center Resource Guide for Faculty/Staff, and the “Faculty Resource Guide: Supporting Students with Disabilities”.
The resource guides are a place to access information related to
- Academic accommodation descriptions,
- Disability etiquette,
- Universal design for leaning,
- How to refer a student to our office,
- How to recognize the warning signs of a student in distress,
- Helpful communication strategies when interacting with a student who may be in distress,
- Mental health emergency contact information, and
- Frequently asked questions
