TCC: Forgot to Register for the June 9 Conference? Remote Attendance Still Possible

While in-person registration is closed, those who would still like to attend are welcomed to choose among the four sessions with a remote option.

Descriptions of these sessions can be found in the June 2023 Teaching & Learning Conference section in the TCC's Brightspace and on the TCC website.

Zoom links are embedded in the session titles.

9:00 AM: Welcomes and Opening Panel

10:00 AM: Intentionally (Re-)Designing Courses for Human Beings

10:00 AM: Writing in the Disciplines: An Asset-Based Approach to Reading, Writing, and Inquiry in the Disciplines for Undecided and Liberal Arts Students (New remote option!)

11:00 AM: Empowering Every Voice: Lessons from the Celebration of Learning

Also, two colleagues opted to prepare asynchronous, pre-recorded sessions. They are:

  1. “Moving Face-to-Face Classroom Discussions Online” by Jeffrey Baker (PSY)
  2. “Academic Rigor, Why It’s Misunderstood” by James Downer (VaPA)

Both videos are available on the TCC’s Brightspace on the Asynchronous, Pre-recorded Sessions page.

If you have any other questions, please reach out to Amy Burtner before 8:30 AM Friday.
