ESOL Voices: Student Spotlight

Nadiia Syvstak

Nadiia Svystak is an immigrant from Ukraine. In addition to her higher education in Ukraine, she decided to study at MCC to get to know the culture and people in the USA better. Nadiia loves her family and is a happy mother of three children. Moreover, she teaches them two cultures. Her aspirations to achieve success are focused on helping Ukraine. Read Nadiia’s story.

ESOL Voices is a collection of stories written by ESOL students at Monroe Community College. This publication highlights our MCC students who come from all over the world. Look for new stories in the Tribune. Search for older stories on our Omeka page maintained by librarian Dax Parasnis-Samar. We hope you enjoy these stories as much as we do.
