Michael Johnson, Counselor, DCC Student Services, represented the Rochester Advocacy Consortium for College Students with Disabilities at the Westside school districts’ Pupil Personnel Services Directors meeting on February 7, where he spoke about helping students with disabilities make a successful transition from high school to college.
Lisa Bierre, Advisor, DCC Student Services, developed a “Jeopardy” style game to educate high school students with disabilities and special education teachers about the same topic. She presented the information to over 250 students and teachers at the Transition to College Fair at Pavilion High School on April 2.
