Recent Fire Alarms

In recent weeks Building 9 on the Brighton Campus has been evacuated twice because of fire alarms. Upon investigation by Public Safety, utilizing our closed circuit TV system, it was determined the cause of both alarms was an individual vaping. Their smoke set off the alarm. Their violations are being addressed by Public Safety and the office of Student Rights and Responsibilities. A reminder that all MCC campuses are totally smoke-free (including vaping).
